PDEU Huddle is an independent student-led platform created by students of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU). This platform is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by PDEU or any of its governing bodies. It is a student initiative designed to streamline and enhance the management and participation of campus events, workshops, hackathons, and other academic or extracurricular activities. PDEU Huddle operates "for the students, by the students" with the intention of improving the overall campus experience.
The primary objective of PDEU Huddle is to simplify event discovery and registration, provide one-click registration for students, help clubs and societies manage events efficiently, maintain participation records and badges, and improve transparency and organization within campus activities. The platform acts only as a facilitation and management system.
PDEU Huddle does not collect, retain, or charge any commission or service fee from students or clubs. All payments made through or in relation to events are directed to the respective club, society, or its authorized representative. The platform does not process or hold funds on behalf of any organization. Any disputes regarding event fees, refunds, or financial matters must be resolved directly between the student and the hosting club or society. PDEU Huddle shall not be held responsible for financial disputes between participants and organizing bodies.
The platform is intended primarily for students of PDEU using their official university email addresses. Students from other universities may be granted view-only access unless otherwise specified. Registration privileges for non-PDEU users may be restricted unless explicitly allowed by the platform council or administrators. We reserve the right to modify access permissions at any time.
We collect only the information voluntarily provided by students, including but not limited to: Name, Roll Number, School / Branch, Semester, Phone Number, Email Address, and Social Media Links.
We implement reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect user data. However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting access to their university email accounts.
Clubs and societies are solely responsible for Event content, Event execution, Certificates, Refunds, and Safety measures. PDEU Huddle provides only a digital infrastructure layer. The platform does not assume liability for: Event cancellations, Event quality, Miscommunication by organizers, or Injuries, damages, or losses occurring during events.
Badges and certificates issued via the platform are dependent on attendance verification and confirmation by organizing clubs. PDEU Huddle does not guarantee certificate issuance without club approval.
PDEU Huddle shall not be liable for Technical outages, Data loss beyond reasonable control, Third-party service failures, or Indirect or consequential damages. Use of the platform is at the user’s own discretion.
PDEU Huddle reserves the right to modify features, add or remove functionality, change policies, update terms, restrict access, or suspend/discontinue the platform. These changes may occur without prior notice.
Users agree not to misuse the platform, upload harmful or illegal content, impersonate others, or exploit system vulnerabilities. The platform reserves the right to suspend accounts violating these rules.
All platform design, code, branding, and content belong to PDEU Huddle unless otherwise stated. Club logos and event materials belong to respective clubs.
By accessing or using PDEU Huddle, users agree to the terms outlined in this document. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
